Comestible Issue 5 + Pollinator Project Seed Pack
Note: Comestible is currently out of the office! All orders between May 18 and June 4, 2017 will ship the first week of June.
Food and fiber go hand in hand, which is why often in Comestible we feature essays and recipes on textiles and natural dyeing. This is why we love the wildflower seeds from the Pollinator Project.
These wildflower seed packets were created in conjunction with Bedhead Fiber and contain a non-GMO mix of annual and perennial seeds, designed to bloom year-round in efforts to assist in the survival of honeybees and other species of pollinators. All the seeds are for dye flower varieties, which means that when they bloom you can harvest and use for dyeing textiles.
Types of flowers in this seed mix:
Alcea nigra - Hollyhock
Coreopsis tinctora - Dyer’s Coreopsis
Cosmos sulphureus - Sulfur Cosmos
Rudbekia - Black Eyed Susan
Anthemis tinctora - Dyer’s Chamomile
Snag a copy of Comestible Issue 5 and a packet of seeds. Time to get to planting!
Only ships to United States.
